Introduction

A congregation of English Baptists met in a music hall in North Inglis Street for a time. They formed in 1841 and had broken away from the James Street Baptist congregation (site separate site). It is not known for how long they worshipped here. This part of Dunfermline has seen a lot of change since the 1970s, with several old streets and buildings demolished to make way for redevelopment and an inner dual carriageway. It would appear the music hall was demolished in the 1950s and the interior fittings sold and transported to the USA.
