Introduction

The site of this group's meetings is unknown and no longer visibly identifiable as this street now contains modern industrial units. There are two sections to the street as it is divided at right angles by Kirk Street. It is believed that Lorne St was the original site for the group before moving to High Street. K. Nichols 09/08

The Secessionists from Myrekirk moved to Lorne Street in 1810. This church was known as "Little Kirkie".
