Description

Strathy Free Church, Farr

Construction materials: Stone - Used for walls; Slate - Used for roof;

This church is a basic rectangular plan with a pulpit. There was a small separate school alongside, but this is now a garage. The church was built in 1845, but is now redundant. It has stone walls and a slate roof, and is complete, although neglect and building developments are a threat to the church. Researched by Rev. F. Bordigett, compiled and written by J. Dowling, 6/11/03.
